The situation - In a world poisoned
by human action, where animal and plant
biodiversity is constantly decreasing,
where the increase in greenhouse gases and
temperature are on the verge of reaching a point
of no return, every little action on our
part is welcome and can make a difference.
|
|
|
What to do - As far
as the companies of our sector are
concerned, what we can do is simple,
but not obvious: reduce CO2
emissions, adopt renewable
energy, cut waste
and deal properly with
garbage. And, above all,
use and/or produce recyclable or
easily discardable materials. Simply
put, to have an overall
eco-sustainable
profile.

Our Professional line is part of
this theme, as it is the one on
which we have focused most to
capitalize our attention to the
environment and to cut waste. In
fact, the products of the
Professional line are made
mostly with recycled
materials, taken
directly from the scraps
of our production.
From fibers to
Universal Thread,
all parts of brooms and brushes of
the Professional line are composed
with the waste material of the
production. The structure, that
is the plastic block and the handle
attachment, is completely made in
this way. The fibers, of
various hardness, also come to be
made with a very high percentage of
recycled plastic,
almost 100%.
The process has a double impact on
the consumption of plastic: on one
hand, it greatly reduces the
mass of material to be disposed
of, on the other hand
it decreases the quantity of virgin
plastic to be purchased for the
production of new articles.
Among the articles of the
Professional line, one in particular
fits perfectly into the topic of
eco-sustainability: the Outdoor
Broom. Our Outdoor
Broom is based on the model of the
sorghum broom, the most classic and
natural broom of our
culture. Looking to the future,
and noting a decline in the
availability of the sorghum, we
thought the Outdoor Broom as the
best solution: strong, resistant and
created from recycled materials,
with the addition of a modern and
ergonomic design, could easily be

Conclusion - Although it may not
seem like much, we are satisfied with this
result. Professional articles want to be for us
the starting point for a larger project, aimed at
taking us to a higher level. We do not want to
focus only on profit, but on respect for the
environment and for the Earth; we are sure
that, one step at a time, we will be able to make a
difference, and maybe be taken as an example for
those who will come after us.
